Update 09-Mar-2010 - New top lists + tournament fixes

New top lists:
We decided to redo top lists cause they are too static and not very interesting for most players since there are no dynamics in them. Also it's a step towards whole new GUNROX which will include massive clan-related competitions. So new top lists are:
1) Weekly most active players - the list of players who gained most experience last week. There is also another activity top list which shows current week progression, while last week list is static. In the future updates we will be awarding special medals for people who often end up in this list.
2) Weekly most active clans - same as activity list of players except total gained experience of all clan members is calculated.
Banned players are excluded from top list for this week automatically.
Tournament changes:
1) Tournament window now tweaked - it saves scroll position in lists, allows to use scroll wheel, has input line to search for participans (press enter to search next). Also it opens player info on double click.
2) Now when the game determines opponents for next round it tries to put players of the same level together if possible.
3) If in the lobby of potentionally tournament game everything is suited for tournament except artifacts, start game/ready button will be locked.
4) Tournament games now last 3 hours, when it's only 1 hour left - timer appears. After time runs out the one who dealt most damage wins.
5) Last tournament was a tremendous success so today we launched registration for another one for levels 20-24 on Mystic Forest with artifacts allowed. Actual tournament starts on friday.
Apple users:
If you have Apple Mac or MacBook, please leave you message in this thread. Currently we are porting GUNROX to MacOS X and might need some testers.
Poison and other changes:
- Poison Trap now deals 65 poison damage instead of 50
- Pulse Grenade now deals 60 poison damage instead of 40
- M15 land mine and Bear Trap now require 5 AP instead of 6
- Now you cannot reset perks Mule and Packer if your inventory is loaded with items (prevents loosing items).
- Other minor fixes

When is the next tournament for levels 10-14 comming out?
I do love the sound of these tournaments. They make me start to try to level up faster to participate in them!

hey bers i was in top 5 players list for 2 week before the new stars & medal thing came out,but i didnt receive the medal for it. the update stated i would, could you look into it plz.

Random can happen for 2x2 but if only there is 4 people of the same level range waiting for random battle in the same time.

ok, but how about lvl 15 and 18 and 15 and 19? diferent lvl but random,
and it shows a 1/4 players if u r the only one doing random.

Perhaps that was the first or second week when we just added in for testing and tracking was not yet implemented so there is no info in the database that you actually was in the top list.
In the future I will add detailed stats about each player that can be viewed via website - there you will be able to see all top-10 hits and tournament participations of particular player (not just wins).

Neue Top-Listen:
Wir beschlossen die Toplisten zu ändern denn sie sind zu statisch und nicht sehr interessant für die meisten Spieler da es keine Dynamik besitzen. Somit ist es auch ist es ein Schritt in Richtung des neuen GUNROX mit massiven Clan-bezogenen Wettbewerben. Neuen Top-Listen sind:
1) Wöchentliche aktivste Spieler - die Liste der Spieler mit der meisten Erfahrung der letzten Woche. Es gibt auch eine weitere Top-Liste mit den aktuellen Erfahrung der laufenden Woche, während die Liste der vergangenen Woche statisch ist. In zukünftigen Updates werden wir spezielle Medaillen vergeben für Spieler die sehr oft in dieser Liste stehen.
2) Wöchentlich aktivster Clans - wie die Liste der Spieler, jedoch mit der gewonnenen Erfahrungen aller Clan-Mitglieder.
Gesperrten Spieler werden automatisch aus den Top-Listen für diese Woche ausgeschlossen.
Turnier-Änderungen:
1) Turnier-Seite wurde optimiert - sie speichert die Scroll-Position in den Listen, ermöglicht die Verwendung des Mausrad, Eingabezeile für die Suche nach Teilnehmern (drücken ENTER zur Suche). Doppelklick auf einen Spielernamen öffnet nun die Spielerinfos.
2) Das Spiel versucht nun falls möglich Turnier-Paarungen gleicher Level.
3) In der Lobby eines möglichen Turnierspiel ist die "Bereit" Tast gesperrt sollte man Artefakte tragen wenn diese nicht erlaubt sind.
4) Turnierspiele dauern jetzt 3 Stunden, ab einer 1 Stunde Restzeit wird ein Timer angezeigt. Nachdem die Zeit abgelaufen ist geweinnt derjenige, der den meisten Schäden erzeugt hat.
5) Das letzte Turnier war ein voller Erfolg so dass wir heute die Registrierung für einen weiteres der Level 20-24 auf Mystic Forest mit Artefakten starten. Das aktuelle Turnier beginnt am Freitag.
Apple-Nutzer:
Wenn Du Apple Mac oder MacBook nutzt bitte hinterlasse eine Nachrichten in diesem Thread . Derzeit übertragen wir Gunrox auf MacOS und benötigen einige Tester.
Gift und andere Änderungen:
- Giftfalle verursacht nun 65 Giftschaden statt 50
- Pulsegranate verursacht nun 60 Giftschaden statt 40
- M15 - Landmine und Bärenfalle benötigt nun 5 statt 6 AP
- Man kann nicht mehr "Mule" und "Packer" resetten wenn das Inventar der Einheit mit Gegenständen beladen ist (verhindert dass Gegenstände verloren werden)
- Weitere kleinere Korrekturen
