Curious information -
Number of registrations for last week from different countries:
Brazil - 38.7%
Turkey - 6.2%
USA - 4.5%
China - 4.4%
Russia - 3.5%
Ukraine - 3.4%
Israel - 3.2%
Poland - 2.2%
Italy - 2.0%
United Kingdom - 1.9%
Other - 29.8%
As you can see Brazil is leading the crowd big time ☺
However since Russian localization added recently and number of other to follow (Dutch, Ukrainian, Polish) number of players from other countries will grow hopefully.
On a side note - we've reached psychological barrier of 10 paid clan registration, therefore we will increase price of new clan up to 100000E and will be increasing it even more in the future.

What the....? The percentage of American players is under 5%? Wow. I thought there was some more on there!
As for the high percentage of brazilian players... I think it might be a good time to get someone with a Portuguese translator or a translator themselves onto the team ASAP so that we can communicate with them.

Dear Administrator
(I'm from Vietnam so may be get some mistake in writen English)
Could you please anwers me some of these questions
1. Where are you from? and your website from?
2. How to create a new clan? Example, I want to create my own clan, how can I do?
3. I see some land ( lost beach, Junk yark...) controled by some clans, but change very quikly to another clan. Is this they be defeated, then another winner clan will control?

hi there guys..
hahah if haveing the beaches is or not enough..I would say it is..because they r really awesome.
but if you guys want to know why brazil has more players than all the world..I will tell you the reasons.
Fact: disconsider that of this 35% brazil registration might be 2nd acounts of lots of older players, I would say...
main reason: History. lets go back to the 20th century: since the beginning there has been a bigger worry in europe about birth rates and control of population. Such things are starting to happen in countries in development only nowadays, and it is still a pretty undeveloped idea.
The number of young people in Brazil is bigger than any country in europe I believe. Just compare an etharian pyramid. And most people that play gunrox ARE young people.
Secondly, when counter strike was lounched, having a cyber cafe in brazil was a great business. It was always profitable. So, this new...games universe became quite popular between all young people, and even older business men. The lan houses were always FULL of people wanting to play games like CS and warcraft.
And why was it so ground breaking? Because these games are..INTERACTIVE with other people.
Now these days are gone, but during this time a game culture between the teenagers was developed. They dont play football anymore..they play videogames. And this culture stayed. Such culture helps publishing on line games like gunrox, and making them more popular.
Another important reason is...mouth to mouth. Just like shops, or restaurants, or any kind of services society offers, gunrox is subjected to indications. that is one of the main reasons, because as long as it is an interactive game...
you DO WANT YOUR FRIENDS to play with you! thats how it s always been, because it makes a lot of more un when you know the person who plays aside you.
An indirect reason: Brazil has been having very good economical situations in these last years, what helped a big part of the population have access to informatics. This is called Digital inclusion.
Well..the last and undeniable fact..BRAZIL IS A BIG COUNTRY. Its population is of around 170 million people...
and only in Great Sao paulo, the economic center, live around 17 Million.

VanHellsing did great job to translate the game, so most is translated. I was more into having another Portuguese-speaking moderator cause like you said there are a lot of brasilian kids in this game and we need proper people to calm them down from time to time. Sure I usually do it myself, but they often don't understand me.
