2012 and new players
Gunrox is a great turnbased strategy/tactical game. I truly wish others could join. So,... in the spirit of making 2012 better for all of us... if i may recommend..

REDUCE costs of AMMO, WEAPONS, and ARMOR
- this is a combat game.
- reducing costs so people may fight will encourage more activity.
$5 for level 30 and below...
- Ammo
- Armor
- Weapons
INCREASE chances of gamble
- there isn't a whole lot of arts coming into market now
possible reasons... a. few players
b. less cash with existing players
- spending $150 or more per turn (past a certain level, like 8) is crazy. i think i've seen as high as $298 per turn
- Maybe higher level arts will stimulate gunrox economy (more gambles = better weapons = more sales)

I totaly agree.
High prices make many players do FAKEs... as all have seen.. so many bans for the reason fake... and fake means they go after items.
Armors are quite expensive.
Weapons from SHOTGUN category... also more expensive then melee.. and besides that u need ammo for it.. so it makes it more expensive.
and.. add more perks from 2 to 3 at each 10 lvls

well i agree that less spending cash on items
but getting 3 to 4 perks at each lvl 10s i dont like that is a way to make the game easy and we want it hard. 2 is good 3 is better but i think berserker want 2 =)

Hey, I would buy it.

Problem: Could be abused to farm supplies for other players.
Perhaps you could buy a gun, and never lose it or have to buy it again and only survives a certain time. It would be expensive of course

actually... i've made a little money
i do business w/ the govt and have owned an online retail operation so.. i think i know a little about making paper... cash money :P
(how else you think I spend... 400-800k per month in this game)
my recommendation:
-- REDUCE prices for 60 days and study the data (statistics of consumer behavior)
a. If more items being purchases... determine why.
a1. Is it same people just playing more and buying more? (which is good), or
a2. More people entering and buying less amounts? (which is still good), or
a3. Is there more activity because of ABILITY for more people to play more (either way it is good).
IF there is MORE activity... you have STIMULATED or excited your player base. THEN you may introduce products or services that target those with cash.

The idea is to increase users and activity.
Interestingly... a 7th grader introduced me to this game. I thought it was too simple and, frankly, too kiddish. BUT he insisted on showing me how a player could level up.. the community, perks, skills, etc.
Strategy + Tactics + Items and Skill... that is what i like.
BUT>... 100% of those kids who played at the school I was teaching NO LONGER play because they simply do not have the cash to get past a certain level (let's say... 8).
The _ONLY_ adults i know who play this game are those in the game.
Get more people playing and u will see cash returns on your investment.

I tottaly agree with ur 2nd post ranger but as everyone knows bers is working on a new game which probably is going to switch GUNROX, so, why would he risk on something that is safe and supports him already ?

You are completely wrong because you just look from the side of a customer but not from a salesman. First fact you don't have endless costumers and every costumer don't have endless money. And not every possible costumer will find you.
If you try to sell something mosttime you have additional costs like rent, ingredients, servants, power, water, phone or what ever.
Simple example with your cheeseburger.
Maybe ingredients costs 65cent, power&water 10cent so you have a profit of 25 cent, you need a cook and a cashier who wants some money per month.
You need restaurant with a special rent and you must sell tousends of your cheesburger just to pay your rent. You need to sell tousends just to pay the salary of your cook and cashier. But maybe 1 cook and cashier isn't enough to sell such a huge number of burgers and you need more stuff.
Its a huge cirlce and very hard to find a perfect calculation and not that easy to say just reduce the prices and you will sell more. Sure you will sell more but maybe with to low prices. For example with your cheeseburger sell them for 50 cent and everybody will buy 3-4 burger but your shop will be closed within a very short time.
Who should buy the things with reduced prices? To have new costumers you must have a good advertisement (its not for free) If you have many costumers you need a larger shop (more costs)
It's simply a question of offer and demand. - cost vs income - revenue per costumer and maximal possible number of costumers but also property of your costumers.
Btw. i wont' say its bad for us all to have reduced prices, i would like it too but im also sure the effect won't be more activtiy and income for Enkord.

i want to stress same old issue - not enoupgh players. Few players that invest enourmus amounght of cash, any other just cant stand it. So the majority is not motivated to put more, bcz cant and the outcome is to stop playing at all. If the price are lower - simple fakt more players more fun.

How can Gunrox have more players if game is not promoted at all? I feel that encord just dropping from sinking ship :P. Maybe someone (Ranger?) have to buy that game and start to take care?

If u say he is milking a dieing cow then let's give it some medicine and make it healthy again and cured!!! I mean by this sentences to spread gunrox all over to help build it!!! For example me I have told all of my colegues and my cousins to play gunrox and see how is it and already 10-19 members are playing !! Same like that I wil help more so everyone do like me and we can take gunrox to top and the wealthy guys put some small banners saying new game like that
