If you aren't willing to pay then I recommend using Hypercam. It's a simple program that will allow you to record GUNROX for free. Hypercam should only be used if you are in need of a free screen recorder. Do not buy the full version of this program because there are better recording programs out there that you should buy. If you have a slower computer then try recording in the "Windowed" mode in your GUNROX settings.
Bandicam is another great free recording software. This is my favorite free screen recorder. It's a bit bigger file size than Hypercam, but the quality is much better. Bandicam also has a nice feature that Hypercam lacks - sound. Yes, it's true, Hypercam doesn't record sound. I mean, it does it's just a pain to download the right codecs for it to work. Bandicam records your every internal sound from your sound card. Bandicam, in my opinion, is better than Hypercam.
FRAPS! For players with a nice PC, no lag, big hard drive, and $37, this is the program for you! Fraps is my default recording software and let me tell you why. The quality is astonishing. It's like watching a 1080p HD TV. This will be pleasing to your viewers when they open up your video and it's in a nice quality and they can see every little detail that is occurring. I do not recommend this if you have a PC with lag, small hard drive, and no money to spend. Another drawback that Fraps has is that it records such a big file size you need a video rendering program to save space on your PC and lower it enough to make it readable in most of the basic Windows video editing softwares.
If you choose to use any of the free programs there will be a watermark displayed somewhere on your video saying that you are using an unregistered version which looks quite ugly and can get frequently annoying.
To sum up:
Hypercam: Good for basic recording on a crappy PC, crappy hard drive, and crappy quality.
Bandicam: The best software for free recording. If you are going to invest in buying a program and you don't have the best PC then buy Bandicam over Fraps.
Fraps: Top of the line. This is a golden screen recorder that fails to disappoint. Negatives: huge file size, $37, can slow down gameplay.
