A suggestion about units
We know we got 3 units. Each of them have their own radius sights. But what if we spotted an enemy? And we want to know which of our units see that enemy unit?
Example: There are 2 of my units placed near each other and and enemy was spotted. I want to know which of my units is seeing that enemy. Because, its like I want to know if my other units is being seen or not.
Now my suggestion is that when we see an enemy unit, when we point at it, there will be 3 circles in the box. The first circle represents my first unit, second is second and third circle is my third unit.
Now, the first circle will be shaded if my first unit see that enemy. the 2nd circle will shade if my second unit is what can see him. If all of my units can see him, all circles are shaded.
This is what I can see ok? Not what he can see.

Vision its 9 spaces for defect (if i sm not wrong), so when u spot an enemy normally, he can see you as well. very simple. now tere are some perks that can help to give extra vision, like special sniper perks or special assault rifle perks, so u can see enemy unit and they wont see you (unless they have thoose perks themselfs), and also u can use spy perks...
This game needs better fixes than what u suggest.
i just recomed u play more 😝

Here are some graphs I made to depict the vision of a Gunrox unit without Keen Eye or Eagle Eye.

Also based on this you can calculate out how far enemy unit can see, if he is blinded. Just take the percentage of blind that he has, multiply it by his maximum view range and deduct it from his full vision.
For example if enemy unit is 45% blinded. 9 x 45% = 4.05 = ~4. 9 - 4 = 5. He can see around him as far as boxes with number 5 go on Explosion's graph.

very good information. if a unit is blinded 10%: 9 x 10% = 0.9
would you round up to 1

Tnx for the infos,
But what if ur 100 % blind? I was 100 % blinded once, but I still have 1 cell sight on my front, back, and sides.
Is'nt it goin to be totally blinded if 100 % if we'll base on that info..?

Very good point that you noticed. The thing with vision is that if you go completely horizontally or vertically, you have +1 cell of vision. Just like the graph shows for not blinded unit. So yes, even 100% blind leaves you vision of the cell right next to you. Any kind of diagonal vision is limited.
And most rounding in gunrox is done by accuracy of 0.5 (or 0.05). If above this, then rounded up, if below, then rounded down. There might be some exceptions to this rule, but most of the time this kind on accuracy in calculating various stuff in game has been enough for me.

His numbers are worng. As you can see most numbers form square, and in GUNROX blinded vision is not square.

:O That sounds like something new to me. Can you explain a bit more detailed, maybe with some simple example? What do you mean by "square"? How would be correct to do calculations?

blinded for 50%, i guess?

I think this is correct. I did some testing, and I got this diagram when 30% blinded. Proof with pictures below.

Oh, now I understand what berserker ment by square vision. Yes, of course blinded vision is not square, just like regular vision. I guess I expressed myself a bit incorrectly.
Thanks a lot to Explosion for very helpful examples on pictures and graphs. Good work man! We need more threads like that in forum.

Yes I agree. Thank you too. I wish there were more users who post valuable information instead of the brainless spammers that just want to see their post count go up

oh tnx for all info..
But how do we calculate the vision if there are obstacles? because its like when I want to go to that bush, it seems that im getting scared, because Im not sure if my vision is safe enough to be hidden.
