First of all, what kind of operative system are you on... windows or mac? Second, is the video driver up to date... also is your monitor allowed to show many diferent resolution sizes or is on default mode with only one size... (again check your video driver as well) If you are running on Windows 8 you could be locking your gunrox window.... wich means that by deafault windows will ALWAYS show that program with that resolution size.... and so on... so many factors to consider...
