When you let the memorizer buy the things you need, it displays the number wrong, it still works but it displays the stuff it purchases by 1 less
(I need 2 shotgun ammo, which cost 20E)

Memorizer always worked in such way,
when it says 1 ITEM NEEDED it refers to the ITEM CATEGORY and next to it it shows the PRICE,
am pretty sure players accostumed to memorizer should know that,

Can tell you it wasn't like that years ago, and either way, it should correctly state the number of how many items the memorizer will buy for you.
I am pretty sure fake ref gods like yourself should know better as well 😝
