A way to attract new players and help them out
Hello everybody, as a new player I have quite a bit of difficulty of playing against mostly smurfs, thus I need help. Here comes the idea pitch... AN OFFICIAL GUNROX DISCORD. Why you may ask? Honestly why not, in my opinion forums are too outdated, and regretfully enough not appealing to zoomers such as myself. The OFFICIAL GUNROX DISCORD would of course not only include (perhaps): the newest announcements, guides, how to's, channels for communications, which may be branched off to different languages ones. Let's be real, what's more toxic than not letting a person speak his own language☹(debatable, just a meme, forget this sentence exists). Anyways class, this concludes my presentation on why we should have an OFFICIAL GUNROX DISCORD. Any hate accepted, but your opinion will be neglected (unless it's fair criticism)😎😎 Please, if you have read till here, share your ideas on this topic. Thanks, love you.

I guess I will answer on behalf of berserker since he is not a huge fan of Discord😝
Having an official GUNROX Discord server would have its benefits, sure - and I have been working on one for a while now, but, I think in order to make it actually viable and attracting towards players/new players that might discover the server through server discovery on Discord etc, it would make more sense to integrate part of the forums and even some stuff in-game directly to Discord, example: berserker posts new thread in ''News & Announcements'' section on forum, it would also automatically post about it in #announcements in Discord(would probably be most beneficial to players who use mobile since they don't see any news/update post when opening game from browser unless they specifically visit forums), new tournament started in-game, would post an automated message to let everyone know on Discord etc, the list goes on pretty long - but as it stands right now, I don't think it will happen, I am busy with dealing other various stuff with in life, at work etc but perhaps I can revisit this topic with berserker once bots have been released and there are plans to start advertising the game again, but I am in favor of having an official Discord server for the game that is moderated and updated frequently, not the last few ones that have tried and failed and ultimately turned into shittalk, insulting, account buying, selling, faking etc.

There have been numerous of created discord bots where you have to login via a website, get like a 6 digit code and give that code to the bot (in this circumstance the website would be the gunrox forum) to get permissions and be able to post things on discord, same thing for bots which would automatically post the newest threads from the forum. Of course this isn't a perfect world and it would take time to program and tweak. Totally understand your point on focusing on IRL stuff and other things. Do hope the idea gets revisited, while I'm here where could I find some guides on movement, sighting? Getting destroyed in that aspect.

Don't think we have any up to date guides on that, I would suggest watching videos and asking around for general tips and learning yourself, although - I know someone is planning on making a few tutorial videos regarding some stuff in the game so maybe one day we'll have some video guides too ☺
