I've played Gunrox years ago and decided to come back this week for mainly nostalgia reasons. Sadly I found that the game was dead and incredibly unfriendly to new players (had to wait for over 5! hours to find a random game in clover). It's still an incredibly fun game and it could gain some serious traction again if it were marketed properly. Turning Enkord into a blockchain company and tokenizing all Gunrox assets would be a great start. I seriously hope Berserker does something with this.

It's still an incredibly fun game and it could gain some serious traction again if it were marketed properly. Blockchain in games was a fad derived from NFTs, a concept that already came and went, dead and buried. Gunrox doesn't need that. Progress is slow, but I assume Enkord plans to follow their plan to salvage the Gunrox IP by introducing bots and then trying to advertise the game somehow. Hell, If i was in Yaroslav's shoes I'd have tried to use the war in Ukraine as a way to get more players since the entire western world seems to love Ukraine all of a sudden. "Come help an indie Ukrainian developer, play my game", won't find many more opportunities like that.
